Machja sweaters made of milk protein fiber are produced in a knitwear workshop that is now undergoing redevelopment to coin the Yunnan region of China, thanks to a partnership with a local non-governmental, IFAT member organization.
Its mission is to guide the workshop to respect ethical work conditions. The funds thus collected are then reinvested in social programs which aid local ethnic communities, by sponsoring a school and health clinic.
